Get in the mood by picking-up your bike in our RockVelo shop. Located in a tiny village in Vipava Valley, this is an experience on it`s own! Just an hour away from Ljubljana & Piran, a half-hour away from Postojna Caves! We also do bike delivery - please ask for more info!

Green Slovenia is not always easy to get around by bike! That˙s why we have you covered by providing maps, custom routes and selection of self-guided and guided cycling tours! There is something for everyone and you will enjoy cycling in Vipava Valley for sure!

Ebike Rental Info
Due to limited availability and high demand, please do reserve your bikes in advance! Our rental shop is open every day from 8.00 to 19.00, and we are available per appointment (via e-mail or phone). No security deposit or hidden fees! We only require a copy of your ID and signed rental contract. Full advanced payment by cash or card at bike pick-up.
We offer a complimentary bike delivery service to rentals of 2 days or more, where-by you may receive your rental bike directly to your hotel or accommodation. There is no supplementary cost to the following local destinations: Vipaa Valley from Razdrto to Nova Gorica, Komen Karst area, Postojna area. Please request a quote for other destinations and short-term rentals.
You may bring your own helmet, saddle and pedals along with you and we will happily install them for you.
If during your ride you experience a more serious technical issue ie broken chain, a damaged bicycle or you are involved in an accident, we are able to offer roadside assistance. We will come to repair the bike on the spot, exchange the bike for a new one, or transport you back to your hotel if necessary.
We also offer a transfer service to/from your hotel or the airport at your request. For further information and prices please contact us via email.
Why ride an e-bike?
E-bikes allow you to zip up hills, cruise over rough terrain, and travel further without expending as much energy. To be clear, an E-bike is not a motorbike. As you push the pedals, a small motor engages and gives you a boost. This extra momentum helps riders of all skill and fitness levels enjoy the scenery and the ride. What’s better than a comfortable cruise through the countryside?!
How fit should i be?
Riders of all strength levels will enjoy the E-bike experience. You can adjust the level of motor assistance according to your fitness level, so you’ll never over-exert yourself. On the other hand, you’ll be able to ride with cyclists much fitter than you. No more waiting or being the slowpoke; the whole group can ride together and have lots of fun!
