We have prepared three cycling routes for you, which start at the Toncevi Ecological Tourist Farm and are suitable for cycling with mountain and electric bicycles, which you can rent from them. Vipava valley & Vipavski Križ
You start your cycling with a pleasant descent into the valley of the river Branica, from where you climb through the vineyards to the view of Vrtovče. Followed by a descent to the river Vipava, which offers a great opportunity for refreshment in the summer. In the middle of the trail, stop at the Vipavski Križ for refreshments, where the BIKE | STOP | ENJOY point Gifts of Vipava awaits you. Followed by a return along the river Vipava, a short ascent over Preserje and the final slope home - to Pedrovo. We suggest that you recharge your batteries just in case during a stop in Vipavski Križ or Branik (Ošterija inn).

Views of the Alps - Cerje
This slightly longer cycling trip takes you through the picturesque karst landscape to the Cerje lookout point. There is a view of the Alps, and Nova Gorica and Goriška Brda are in the palm of your hand. In Cerje you can visit the monument to the defenders of Slovenian land, where the TIC is also located. A café with a snack bar is open during the season (check the schedule!). In the second part of the route, descend past the Kostanjevica monastery to Mirno, through Renče, where there is a possibility of cooling off and SUP rowing on the river Vipava. Follow Vipava by bike all the way to Branik, where you climb back to Pedrovo.

Karst romance in Štanjel
A cycling trip takes you across the Karst , which is famous for its stone, Teran and prosciutto . Calm cycling through karst villages awaits you, where you can admire the skill of stonemasons in authentic karst architecture. Follow the side roads and macadam paths to the village of Štanjel , which deserves time to explore and refresh. The descent back to the Branica valley and the home ascent to Pedrovo awaits you. Since the terrain is varied, an electric bike will be the most suitable choice!
