The three musketeers returned to the valley, this time opting for electric bikes—wisdom comes with time! We embarked on the second round of our "bike and sip" tour of the Vipava Valley. This time, we rented e-mountain bikes from RockVelo to cover more ground and stay off tarmac roads. Alex went above and beyond, helping us find the perfect bikes, advising us on our planned route, and supporting us whenever needed. His exceptional service, great bikes, stunning scenery, delicious food, and amazing wines made this weekend unforgettable. Huge thanks, Alex, and best wishes to you and your family!

We rented bikes from Rock Velo as a family of 4 (2 adults, a 12 year old and a 5 year old) and we had a fantastic time. Alex made time to settle our youngest who was unfamiliar with a new bike, he made sure everything was set up perfectly before we started our ride and gave us advice on alterations to the Komoot routes to match our needs.

The bikes were great, the routes were absolutely beautiful through vineyards, rolling countryside, Vipava river and tiny villages.

Alex propose des parcours adaptés sur Komoot. Nous avons choisi celui de 38km à la découverte de petits villages typiques. Vraiment top!

Alex is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with any recommendations on food, places to stay and of course the routes, he prepared one especially for us which made our journeys so much easier.
The road bike was also tailor made for us and the area is just amazing with the views, local vineyards, cafes and super friendly people who hosted us during our small accident - we caught a flat tire and thanks of course to Alex we were able to fix it 🙂

We did a family MTB ride (with 8 year and 11 year old kids). Alex and his wife gave us a perfect experience! Bikes and accesoiries in perfect condition! The family route on Komoot was perfect (with cellphone golfers easy tonfollow)!

Really great afternoon and entertaining tour What a lovely trip. Alex got in touch before the start to suggest a later start given the heatwave and really glad he did. The bikes (not used e-bikes before and they were great, especially on the climbs) were new and really good quality and the route was beautiful with lots to see. We had a great couple of hours riding and then an excellent hour at the wine tasting with Patrick who was a really engaging host. We would throughly recommend the trip as a great way to spend the afternoon. We stopped there on our way between Bled and Piran and it was a lovely way to break up the journey. Your biggest issue is working out who will drive for the last hour!

Rented a road bike from RockVelo Cycling & Tours in Škrilje. Axel is extremely friendly and professional, with extensive knowledge of road bikes. He adjusted the bike perfectly for me and then created a beautiful route that matched my level and preferences. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with rolling hills and vast vineyards – perfect for exploring by bike. Top-quality bikes and excellent service – all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Alex was absolutely wonderful. So helpful and kind! He made sure we had everything we needed to ride with our 2 and 5 year old. The views and the route he recommended can not be beat - vineyards, churches, all along the river!

I've had the pleasure to meet both of the owners and even though I reached out to them pretty much last minute, they gladly helped me with the Thule carriage rental as well as the installation. I definitely recommend their service and am sure will contact them again next time I'm around.

I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart! The host Aleks gave us great tips and we enjoyed the tour so so much. If you want to experience the beauty of Vipava valley make sure you stop at RockVelo and rent bikes.
