Predjama Castle E-bike tour

This Green adventure has 4 main phases. Firstly we will head out along the old Roman road on gravel biking tracks, passing through picture perfect Green Karst villages to ascend the foothills of Nanos, (1,313m) the last mountain in Green Slovenia and gateway to the Mediterranean. We will use the power of the E bikes to climb up stunning forest tracks in green forest littered with Dragon’s teeth, (white Karst rocks). A long superb downhill stone track ride pops out at one of the most beautiful castles in the world, where guests can go visit the Predjama castle in the cliff. A short final burst rewards us with stunning views of Dinaric Alpine peaks as we enjoy a final downhill to Lipizzaner Lodge for a slice of cake and a nice cup of tea sat by another of Slovenia’s unique treasures.. E-bike tour Bikes were in excellent condition and really easy to use. Superb locality to go out and explore with plenty of road and off-road options allowing us to have some amazing views across the valley. Amazing day! We did the tour which included the wine tasting, and the guided tour with Ebikes, The group was small (Me, my boyfriend and another person) so it was very pleasant to get all information about the region. Alex was a superb guide and we enjoyed the activity so much. The bikes are very easy to manage. Since it was the vintage period, we were able to help with the harvest of the grapes with Alex's family.

Fab cycling trip in Vipava Valley From initial email enquiry to picking up the the ebikes, Alex was warm, welcoming and made sure everything went smoothy. He responded quickly to any queries I had. The organisation and tips were superb. We had a beautiful day out and can recommend this trip highly, the ebikes were great fun and were perfect for us as they day was quite warm. The area is beautiful and we took the opportunity to stop off a lots of places enroute. This area is a hidden gem, put it on your to do list if touring Slovenia. Very nice way to discover Slovenia My friends and I had a wonderful tour with Jana.
Jana was very nice and super professional, even we were complete tourists with no biking experience!
The tour was beautiful, the Vipava valley is full of beauty and history.
The tasting was also superb - Slovenian wines we tasted were all very good surprise. Orange wine was definitely my favorite and I learned new stuff about wine. Summer sun helps to feel like it is paradise!

We offer the Predjama Castle e-bike adventure all year round. The most suitable time is certainly spring and autumn when the temperatures are the most suitable, and nature is dressed in its most beautiful colors. If you visit us in the summer, you will enjoy the cool forests of mt. Nanos during your trip!

The Predjama Castle e-bike adventure takes you along quiet country roads. Some parts are gravel, others tarmac. The cycling route is not flat, which is the reason for using E-bikes.

E-bikes make the trip even easier and we do recommend using them over classic bikes!

The entire route is also suitable for cycling with young children (1-4 years) using a child seat or bike trailer - please let us know when booking.

The trip can be shortened or extended making it suitable for everyone.

Cycling is an outdoor sport, so you may get a few raindrops along the way! Always carry some spare clothes with you. In case of weather conditions that do not allow a safe organization of the tour, we reserve the right to postpone the reservation to a more favorable date or issue a travel voucher refund.

Predjama Castle e-bike adventure starts at the village of Landol, where Rockvelo Bike Hub is located at the Llipizzaner Lodge!

The recommended start time is between 9-10am. This way you will finish your cycling by 1-2p.m., perfect timing for a snack and drink after your ride!

Price of the experience per person

adults: 79€

kids riding in a child seat: 25€

kids riding in a cycling trailer: 35€

kids riding children's E-bike (age 7 and up): 69€

Less than 7 days before the trip: No refund or voucher available.
