Alex propose des parcours adaptés sur Komoot. Nous avons choisi celui de 38km à la découverte de petits villages typiques. Vraiment top!

Alex is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with any recommendations on food, places to stay and of course the routes, he prepared one especially for us which made our journeys so much easier.
The road bike was also tailor made for us and the area is just amazing with the views, local vineyards, cafes and super friendly people who hosted us during our small accident - we caught a flat tire and thanks of course to Alex we were able to fix it 🙂

We did a family MTB ride (with 8 year and 11 year old kids). Alex and his wife gave us a perfect experience! Bikes and accesoiries in perfect condition! The family route on Komoot was perfect (with cellphone golfers easy tonfollow)!

A good mix of gravel routes, easy climbs and storytelling in de city centre of Ajdovščina.

Really great afternoon and entertaining tour What a lovely trip. Alex got in touch before the start to suggest a later start given the heatwave and really glad he did. The bikes (not used e-bikes before and they were great, especially on the climbs) were new and really good quality and the route was beautiful with lots to see. We had a great couple of hours riding and then an excellent hour at the wine tasting with Patrick who was a really engaging host. We would throughly recommend the trip as a great way to spend the afternoon. We stopped there on our way between Bled and Piran and it was a lovely way to break up the journey. Your biggest issue is working out who will drive for the last hour! - 6/30/2025 

Rented a road bike from RockVelo Cycling & Tours in Škrilje. Axel is extremely friendly and professional, with extensive knowledge of road bikes. He adjusted the bike perfectly for me and then created a beautiful route that matched my level and preferences. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with rolling hills and vast vineyards – perfect for exploring by bike. Top-quality bikes and excellent service – all at a very reasonable price. I've had the pleasure to meet both of the owners and even though I reached out to them pretty much last minute, they gladly helped me with the Thule carriage rental as well as the installation. We requested 7 non-electric road bikes and Alex has helped us greatly to find them for us. All delivered on time. The bikes were nearly new and were in great shape. When a chain broke Alex instantly responded and looked for a bike shop nearby the place where it happened so that we could continue our tour. Family e-bike ride in 35+ degrees! 😬 This was the most charming bike rental spot. Alex was particularly warm, welcoming and helpful. You got the impression that nothing was too much to ask and he had an excellent manner with the children. He made sure we had everything we needed before we left and gave great advice using the Komoot app. The kids absolutely loved the ease of the ride on a hot day and our son said, “the only problem was that you leave wondering how you can convince your parents to buy you an e-bike!” We would highly recommend RockVelo. Great experience and great host Although initially a little hard to find once we were there Alex ( the owner) welcomed us really nicely. I gave him a WhatsApp the night before ( after office hours) and he replied and sorted everything. Set up was easy and the bikes are great. The route was easy to follow and stunning. Only word of caution is we did 2.5 hours and it felt enough. Was glad to get back and get in some air con! - 7/27/2024 

We had a beautiful bike tour around the vineyards in the Vipava valley. The owner is very friendly and flexible. He also came with some good tips. The bikes where super. Go and rent a bike yourself and enjoy as much as we did!

Great familiy biking experience! Alex immediately got us in the mood by greeting us very friendly and energetic. After this, he explained everything about the bikes very carefully. We were with a group of 8 people, and everybody got a super, perfectly fitting E-bike. We had a lot of fun during the ride, and enjoyed the incredible sights in de Slovenian mountains. Kljub temu, da sva se za najem ekoles odločila zadnjo sekundo, nama je Aleksej takoj priskočil na pomoč in nama kolesa pripeljal na želeno lokacijo. Komunikacija je bila hitra, vse je potekalo brez težav. Kolesa so odlična, poleg sva dobila tudi čeladi, nahrbtnik, ključavnici in držala za telefon. Na njihovi spletni strani sva odkrila prelepo kolesarsko pot, ki vodi ob Soči in preko Goriških Brd. Vse je potekalo popolno! - 6/27/2024 

What a fantastic place! We booked the night before in minutes which was great. Alex rang us first thing the next morning to say that unfortunately the shop was closed for the day but he'd come up with a plan so that we could still enjoy the bike hire. He sent us a location to collect our bikes and helmets, gave us some route recommendations for varying difficulty rides and an explanation of how to use the bikes.
I decided to find my own route for my wife and I which started out well but because of the steep incline we very quickly used a lot of bike battery. My phone then died despite having been fully charged and then my bike battery ran out because we'd done too much.
We had a great time on the unexpected single tracks of the forest but I do wish I'd listened to Alex's recommendations as I feel we'd have had an even better day.
Alex was so friendly and welcoming when we returned back some 6 hours later with empty batteries and very muddy bikes.
We would definitely hire through him again.

Alex is the perfect cycle tour guide! My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic eBike tour of the Vipava Valley with Alex as our guide. Alex was great at keeping in touch, tailored the route to suit our requirements, and helped my wife overcome her initial lack of confidence (by the end she was powering off into the distance!). We found Alex to be thoroughly engaging, with a great sense of humour. He is a fount of knowledge about the area and Slovenian culture. Despite being a very experienced cyclist he was very happy to go at a pace suitable for beginners like us. We were lucky enough to enjoy perfect weather, made frequent stops to discuss points of interest along the route, and enjoyed some wonderful locally made ice cream! The tour finished with lunch in a delightful historic village. We couldn't have wished for better hospitality, and would thoroughly recommend RockVelo to anyone who wants to get out for an exciting and educatonal ride in the countryside whilst on holiday. My husband and I had the best time using RockVelo’s bicycles! We rented his e-bikes to be able to spend the day doing a long ride throughout Vipava valley. Our previous plans for the day had fallen through, so we called Alex at the recommendation of our hosts and he supplied the bikes within the hour! The bikes themselves ran wonderfully. Even better, the company had prepared routes that we could download and follow along to get the best views/experiences of the valley! Alex also gave us a map on which he drew our selected route and recommended some extra stops, which he drew onto our map and gave clear explanations of how to navigate there. His recommendations were very clear and also very appreciated, as they really added to our trip! Alex was kind, a clear communicator, and very thorough.
