We have prepared three cycling routes for you, which start with us and are suitable for cycling with mountain and electric bicycles, which you can rent from us. Family
Along the river Branica
This bike path takes you through the valley of the river Branica. You will cycle with a view of the mighty Rihemberk Castle and turn onto a macadam path in front of the village of Saksid. Past the confluence of the Branica and Vipava rivers, you will round off the trail through Dornberk, where you`ll find possibilities of refreshment. You return to the Hiša posebne sorte along the already known path. At the top right you will also notice the village of Štanjel! Cycling is also suitable for children - accustomed to cycling on the road with some traffic.
E-bike
Along the Vipava Valley
This slightly longer cycling trip takes you across the Vipava hills to the Vipava valley . Views over the vineyards of Nanos, Gora and Čaven await you. You will cycle through the most beautiful wine-growing corners, visit the town of Vipava and continue along the side paths all the way to the Vipavski Križ! There is an ideal moment to stop and refresh at the bike point Darovi Vipavske. On the way back, you climb over Vrtovče, and then enjoy easy ride all the way to the starting point. The trip is more varied and real pleasure on electric bikes!
E-bike
Tour of Karst
A cycling trip takes you to the Karst , which is famous for its stone, Teran and prosciutto. First you will cycle through the picturesque valley of the river Branica , which is a great warm-up for the main ascent of the day - the Iron Gate pass . There you will have beautiful views over the Vipava valley, all the way to the Alps. When you overcome the slope, you can calmly cycle through karst villages, where you can admire the skill of stonemasons in authentic karst architecture. Follow the side roads and macadam paths to the village of Štanjel , which deserves time for exploration and offers options for a refreshment - we suggest our cycling point Bar Zoro. The only thing waiting for you is the descent back to the Branica valley and you are already back at the accommodation! Since the trip is hilly, an electric bike will be most suitable choice!
